Providing publishers with a platform to join the best affiliate programs in the world while ensuring advertiser compliance and superior affiliate tracking is our priority. We uphold the highest network quality standards, allowing both advertisers and publishers to make good choices for lucrative and equitable partnerships. Our Network Quality team uses industry leading technology and hands-on experience to monitor both advertiser tracking and publisher traffic quality.

Advertisers and publishers have complete control over who they partner with and operate under a set of CJ Network guidelines that ensure fair treatment. In order to maintain our high-level of network quality and ensure a level playing field for everyone, we particularly watch for violations including:

  • Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (Spam) – E-mail campaigns to users who did not provide consent or opt-in, or to e-mail lists that were purchased or obtained illegally. All e-mails must be CANSPAM compliant and provide users with a clear opt-out option, access to privacy agreements, and accurate information about the e-mail campaign sender.
  • Objectionable Content – Use or promotion of hate, por­nography, illegal activity, profanity, trademark or brand infringement, and typo squatting and/or cyber squatting that misleads consumers or violate trademarks or copyrights.
  • Non-compliant Transactions – Publisher use of an expired or stolen credit card for sale transactions, producing an abnormal number of reversals in a given period, buying and returning items to earn commissions, creating leads with false information, duplicating or stealing leads, self-inflating leads, and/or submitting false pixel calls to CJ tracking servers to emulate actual transactions (spoofing).
  • Undisclosed Incentive or Special Program – Publisher failure to disclose the provision of a gift or reward for lead submis­sion, or a rebate for sales transaction. Publisher placement of links on third-party ad networks or sub-affiliates, or using software or desktop downloads created by pop-ups.
  • Keyword, Trademark or Brand Infringement – Publisher purchase of a registered trademark or misspelled trademark, restricted keyword or misspelled restricted keyword on a pay-per-click search engine. Publisher bid on an advertiser on a keyword designated as noncompete, or publisher use of trade­mark and/or restricted keywords in meta tags, page copy or URL string to inflate natural search engine ranking.
  • Providing False Information or Publisher Rings – Publisher creation of an account(s) with false information in an attempt to defraud advertisers or use of multiple accounts (publisher rings) to avoid enforcement of non-compliant activity.
  • Down Tracking – Advertiser disabling or removing the track­ing pixel on the advertiser shopping cart from the advertiser confirmation page.
  • Lead Flipping – Advertiser flipping unqualified leads to another advertiser at the time of sign-up, usually earning a commission in the process.
  • Selective Tracking – Advertiser only paying commissions for some but not all purchases on website(s) or lead form submissions.
  • Illegitimate Reversals – Advertiser reversals on legitimate leads or sales.
